ANTIOCH, California (CNN) -- Customers of the printing troop knew her as "Allissa."
Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped at 11 and kept hidden for the purpose 18 years in a backyard compound, authorities say.
They spoke to her down plain devise, business cards and fliers, and describe her as veteran, polite and responsive.
"She was eternally virtuous at getting us what we wanted," said Ben Daughdrill, who used to own a jettison hauling business. "You got the sympathy she was doing all the work."
But "Allissa," authorities convey, was really Jaycee Dugard, kidnapped 18 years ago from her haven in South Lake Tahoe, California.
Her distinctiveness was discovered earlier this week and her presumed kidnappers -- 58-year-old Phillip Garrido, a registered coition offender, and his 55-year-old chain Nancy -- were arrested.
They face 29 felony charges, including sack and kidnapping, and both press pleaded not guilty. Read more on CNN News. |
