PacMan777,I did not mean this to go so off topic or get into a debate. What I'm saying is it is happening whether you wish to believe it or not. I don't own a HD TV and really I don't plan on it. I am quite satisfied with what I have. Did you know that the manufacturers no longer supply repair manuals and schematics for free to those that service them? So kiss those new toys goodbye when they fail. We live in a throwaway society and I, for one, am not contributing to it.
