ANTIOCH, California (CNN) -- Customers of the printing society knew her as "Allissa."
Jaycee Dugard was kidnapped at 11 and kept unseen quest of 18 years in a backyard compound, authorities say.
They spoke to her around graphic contrive, business cards and fliers, and identify her as veteran, tactful and responsive.
"She was ever after okay at getting us what we wanted," said Ben Daughdrill, who used to own a scrap hauling business. "You got the belief she was doing all the work."
But "Allissa," authorities say, was really Jaycee Dugard, kidnapped 18 years ago from her home in South Lake Tahoe, California.
Her identity was discovered earlier this week and her purported kidnappers -- 58-year-old Phillip Garrido, a registered shafting miscreant, and his 55-year-old wife Nancy -- were arrested.
They right side 29 felony charges, including rape and kidnapping, and both have pleaded not guilty. Read more on CNN News. |
